For today's SCS color challenge, CC270, to use melon mambo and soft suede.
This is also for Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge #2 (to use a corner punch on your card) and the brand new Repeat Impressions Sketch Challenge, M510. What a fun sketch!
My hubby got me two Papertrey Ink Button Bits sets, and a few other goodies , for Mother's Day! I couldn't wait to start inking them, so I used this frond-y image from the Blooming Button Bits set and sorted through my large-ish collection of buttons to find a few close-to-Melon-Mambo buttons to use as the flowers.
For the Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge, I used my SU scallop trim corner punch. I love how that worked out!
I love how this little note card turned out. I think I'm going to make a set of four (in different colors) to have on hand as an end-of-the-school-year gift. I'm going to need a lot of those!!
PS Thanks to Lisa (aka lisaadd on SCS) for the soft suede card stock and to Pam (aka Bailmac on SCS) for the soft suede DSP!! Couldn't have made this card without you, ladies

Emzi, this is so pretty and I love the Button Bits frond-y image. How great your hubby got them for you for Mother's Day. I see you got in lots of punches and some faux brads. Don't ever send any of those to Pam...you know what she did to me with that so called fake sewing machine. LOL Love your card!
